Session 1 of the Data-driven Agriculture international symposium: Agriculture Big Data – Management and Sharing. There are 5 speakers for this session:

1) Dr. Yongbeen Cho, Rural Development Administration, Jeonju, Republic of Korea. His presentation is on “The bigdata management and use case study for agriculture based on data”;

2) Dr. Ahmad Safuan Bin Bujang, Agricultural Research and Development Institute, Serdang, Malaysia. His presentation is on “Agriculture 4.0: Data driven approach to galvanize Malaysia's agro-food sector development”;

3) Dr. Jyh-Rong Tsay, Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute, Taichung, Taiwan who talked about “Application of common information platform to foster data-driven agriculture in Taiwan”.

4) Dr. Mai Van Trinh, Institute for Agricultural Environment, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Hanoi, Vietnam who talked about “Developing a database of agricultural production and rural development in Vietnam”.

5) Dr. Shigehiko Hayashi, National Agriculture and Food Research Organization, Tokyo, Japan who talked about “Agricultural data collaboration platform: WAGRI – system structure and operation”.
