Summary of NARO Symposium on Swine Reproductive Technologies

The recent symposium on “Cutting Edge Reproductive Technologies and Perspectives for their Usage in Swine” which was held last June 2-7 in Tainan, Taiwan and organized by Japan’s National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO), together with FFTC, the Taiwan Livestock and Research Institute, NIAS and NILGS has been summarized into Japanese language by FFTC’s Deputy Director Dr. Takashi Nagai for the benefit of our growing Japanese readers. In the said international symposium, 26 livestock experts representing 11 countries attended the said workshop which basically aims to share and exchange relevant information on molecular-oriented swine breeding and swine raising technologies.
